A New Release is on the horizon. The import from Blender to Max has been smoother for Aquh then the rest of my ages. I can see the possibility that there could be a release this month.

I got a weird error converting with Drizzle.

ensure: condition not met

It has something to do with the swim plane and/or region I just tried to put in, as I didn't get that error before trying to put in those two.

When I delete them the error goes away when converting.

I also noticed when both were left in and I tried to swim I could go like only a foot and then the avie would stop swimming, stand upright, and would have jerky movements (regardless if I am swimming or leaving it alone).

Not sure what that could be. I can ask Dustin about it and see what he thinks since he's the one that does Drizzle.

could you take a pic and show us how you have the Roll Out for the swim region component?

Which roll out? The one for the plane or the one for the box? The one for the plane is exactly like the one pictured in your tutorial.

Also I have been experimenting and the drizzle error (ensure: condition not met) is associated with the box. I delete the box, export and convert and drizzle doesn't complain.

Okay, well the ONLY component that is attached to the box should be "PageInfo", and that's it. The box is made into a "region" by the Swim component you attach to your Swim Plane. In it's roll out is a button you use to pick the box. So make sure you don't have anything else attached.

When I made that tutorial, it was when Drizzle was version 24 or so. I've not made any swim regions since then so I don't know if something in Drizzle got broken or not since then.

Well then it has to be a result of the error that drizzle throws up. Either that or I am not doing something right in the placement of the box in relation to the plane.

If its the error, I will just have to wait for Dustin to pop up. I noticed he hasn't logged into GoW since last Sunday.

I am kinda of the opinion it is a result of the error though. I can't see why the position of the box in relation to the plane would cause the avie to stop swimming and become all jerky like that.

Edit: In fact after several tests I am positive its a result of the error from Drizzle. Something in Drizzle is currently messing up the swim regions.

For the time being I will just delete both and put up a fence around the water to keep people from falling through the waveset.

Corvus said over on GoW that she got the error also and her swim regions worked. So I am back to it being something in Max.

Edit: So far so good. I redid both box and plane and so far I'm having no problems, weird.

Edit Part Deux: Not sure what I was doing wrong before but I finally got it to work this time around.

(changed he to she, oops)

"She", Corvus is a She. Hehehe.

I'm sending a email to Dustin about it so he can look.
