Guild of Maintainers: Forum

Since I never had an account on MOUL (i was sadly too late to hear that I didn't need a GT account to play, just a subscription), how should I sign up? Do I need to do a report on a user created age (I'm not terribly good at that... yet.), or can I do one on an Uru: CC age (i.e.- state of structural integrity, explorablility (I think I just made that word up), etc.)? Because I'm not bad at those. Or can I just be in? I'm not sure how the joining thing works anymore.

Hehehe! You have a few options. You can do a post on any Age in the Inspections Forum or you can fill out this form. Simple as pie. Don't worry about your inspection reports, either. Those will come with practice. I don't think mine are very good most of the time either. If you want to know what a pro does, check out Dot's and Jishin's inspection notes. I couldn't even come close!

ok. so i guess that works haha. it was just the stuff like KI number, neighborhood, and avatar name that are non-existent for me on that signup sheet were misleading to me. so then good enough. haha

It looks like we'll need to revise the sign-up form to reflect current realities. Poor Nyn -- another job!

haha. yeah, but i find the stuff that might be minuscule and sometimes hard to notice, but yet pisses people off most to fix. that is often me. hahahaha. beware my wrath. haha. problem is that it is hard for me to give a full report for someone else. that is my flaw. but i'll work on it.

EDIT 2: and how do the nametag colors work? is it just like a ranking system or something?

You'll find that most people around here are pretty laid-back and open to even the little nitpicky findings. (; I can't speak for everyone, but that seems to be my impression.

As for the name color convention, Guildmasters are teal (I'm semi-retired but they made me keep my title ), web staff is pink (that's Nynaveve), Maintainers are Maintainer-burgundy, and Writers are tan. People who are registered but aren't either a Maintainer or a Writer are listed in black. Bots like MSNbot are ... purple? I think? but never post to the forums, just show up down below in the "who's online" listing.
