Yes, they are on the right. Guess I'll have to reinstall

Uhm, I feel silly for asking this, but have you tried going to your shelf and clicking on the spot where the book should be? I'm not saying that it will work, but this is reminding me more and more of the Bookshelf bug on MOUL where all the books seem to disappear, until you walk up or use them.

Hmm, I'll try that. It can't hurt!

 Didn't work.

Man, don't you hate that? Something works just fine and great on your computer, and your friends and family end up having problems that you can't figure out! :headbang:

I do know this though: Since I've installed ULM, I have not USED my fly mode. It's still installed, but I have not used it.

I could say that, since you won't be able to use Fly Mode in MOUL when we get to inspect Ages online, why start developing bad habits now? You'll have to walk/run/jump like anyone else.
But mostly it's because I forgot I had Fly Mode.

The other thing about Fly Mode, is there is no clipping. This will make you go through walls, ceilings, floors etc. Part of what we try to find is places where that's happening, but it's not suppose to.

My main recommendation is: Inspecting? Fly Mode off please.

I would suggest reinstalling Uru CC and the ULM, but leave Fly Mode gone.

That doesn't solves Jishin's problem though.....sigh. :headbang:

I've tried that; it hasn't worked for me.

I'll try reinstalling and see where that gets me. Thanks for the help!

I uninstalled everything and reinstalled it. Now all of it works. The books show up and fly mode works as well.

OK, after reading this thread the problem is finally clear to me.
I'll make it clear to you guys as well

Simply said, python.pak includes all files needed for operation of uru, including - the relto files.
Now, UruLibraryManager.pak has the same relto files in it, only upgraded to support the books.

Big question is: How does Uru know which version to use?
The answer is simple - it sorts the .pak files on date, and loads the oldest files first, and the newest files latest.
That way, if they contain files with the same name, the files from the newest .pak file (creation/modification date) overwrite the oldest in memory.

Now, after installation of ULM, UruLibraryManager.pak is newer than python.pak, so the neccessery relto files get overwitten nicely.
But, after when installing flymode, it patches up your python.pak file, to include flymode. Now the files modification date is renewed, making python.pak (containing the old relto files) newer than UruLibraryManager.pak. Thus, the UruLibraryManager relto files are loaded first, and are nicely overwritten (in memory) by the original relto files from python.pak.

Simple order of operation:
- install uru
- install flymode
- install ULM

In case of later install of flymode do this:
- install flymode
- remove [uru]/python/UruLibraryManager.pak
- re-install ULM

--trylon

Hi there, I'm wondering if anyone knows a (current) working link to FlyMode for URU:CC?

The links in this topic do not work, I'm afraid.

Thanks!
