For the one or two Uru fans not yet visiting SL here are some images so one can see what Devokan looks like.

This picture does not do justice to the sea foam.

It really is a beautiful place, however.... I looked all over and someone lost the plane. I'm serious it's not there anymore.

The plane is back. I think someone had some trouble with its controls.

By the way, the earthquakes are continuing. They have been particularly bad in the northmost area over the weekend, pushing up a mountain range.

Ametist, we urgently need your cliff climbing skills!

This truly is a land in flux -- something new most days.

And those sails boats... one can find them at 2 or 3 docks in Devokan. They work well. Take one for a sail.

The Leonardo Da Vinci type plane is much harder to control than the boats. It has unusual controls for SL. I think they work better than many but many people will likely bail out rather than land it.

My favourite flying machine in SL is the Phoebe mini airship. It's parked just outside my cottage in the southeast of the main island.

It'll take up to four passengers, so if you see me online and want a tour of the islands, send me an im.

Quinquifid's submersible is a little trickier to handle, but is good for exploring underwater as well as above ground. That can take a single passenger.

Quin took me for a ride in it about an hour ago. Tried to teach me how to use your laptop but couldn't remeber. I'm on There now. I went and visited the new mountains this morning. Paislee flew by, introduced herself wonderful lady. The cave behind the waterfall i found to be an exceptional touch. I nice little hideaway!
